Convention Transportation Options

We have designed 3 transportation packages: the full-bus option and two bus-and-Metro options, which make extensive use of Washington's excellent subway system on specific convention days.

1. Full Bus - $150
Charter coach service between the hotel and all venues. Note: Some walking will be required. We have scheduled programs and workshops at venues close enough together to walk in 10-15 minutes.*

2. Bus + Metro - $100
Charter coaches to venues not convenient to Metro stops. We'll provide a $10 Metro card that will cover trips during the convention on Tuesday and Wednesday to downtown locations.

3. Bus + Buy-your-own Metro card - $90
The same coach service as option 2, but you purchase your own Metro card for even more flexibility. If you are planning to come before or stay after the convention (before the 4th), or if family or friends are coming along with you to Washington, DC, this is ideal. You can add a weekly Metro pass to come and go as you please for seven consecutive days. The 7-day Short Trip Pass ($26.40)** is activated the first day you use it, rather than on a specific day. Weekly passes can be purchased at the Metro station located next to the hotel or online on the Metro website a week prior to your departure.

*If you require special needs transportation, please indicate this in your registration
** Subject to fare increase by Metro
