John Dixon (www.JohnSDixon.com) co-chaired the 2009 AGO Region III convention in Hampton Roads, Virginia. He serves as organist at Providence Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia and is an active composer, with some 500 compositions in his catalog. His organ music is published by Zimbel Press. He combines a background in business with his love of music in his current position as Executive Director of The Academy of Music, a non-profit community music school in Norfolk, Virginia.
