Performers are Andrea Boudra and Jonathan Hellerman.

Biography

James David Christie, Professor of Organ at Oberlin Conservatory, has been internationally acclaimed as one of the finest organists of his generation. He has performed around the world with symphony orchestras, period instrument ensembles, and in solo recitals. He has been organist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra since 1978. Christie received his degrees from Oberlin and New England, including the coveted Artist Diploma. He studied with David Boe, Yuko Hayashi, Bernard Lagacé, Harald Vogel and Marie-Claire Alain. In the fall of 2010, he and Olivier Latry will exchange positions during their sabbaticals from Oberlin and the Paris Conservatory.
